House, C16 and C17, altered in C20. Timber framed, plastered, roofed with C20 concrete tiles. H-plan, consisting of C16 two bay east crosswing, C17 two bay west crosswing, and C17 central range with axial chimney stack at east end, forming a lobby-entrance. C17 external chimney stack on west side of west crosswing. Lean-to extension to north of east crosswing with roof of C20 tiles, C20. Single-storey extension to east, C20, and conservatory in southeast angle. Two storeys. South elevation, C20 door, three C20 metal casement windows. First floor, three similar windows, of which two are in gabled dormers. The west crosswing retains its original roof alignment, but the remainder has been re-roofed on an east-west alignment, the walls of the east crosswing raised to meet it. The interior of the east crosswing has transverse and axial beams plain-chamfered with lamb's tongue stops, and exposed joists of horizontal section; the central tiebeam has been removed. The west crosswing has a plain-chamfered transverse beam with exposed joists of vertical section. The middle range has a plain-chamfered axial beam with lamb's tongue stops, joists plastered to the soffits.
