House. C16 or earlier rear range, C19 front ranges. Timber framed rear range,
C19 red brick faced, C19 red brick front range. Red plain tiled roofs. 2
storeys. Front range left bay with 2 gables to right, these with curved and
pierced bargeboards and pendants. Pilaster to left. 1:2:1 window range of
vertically sliding sashes with glazing bars and horns. Plastered gauged arches
with keystones. Right and left ground floor tripartite windows. Central
recessed porch, plastered depressed archway with imposts and keystone.
Sidelights and top light to door. The original rear range with parapet verge to
gable. 2 red brick chimney stacks to rear of gables. Internally there is a
stick baluster staircase to front range and an early C19 cast iron fire surround
to a bedroom, moulded surrounds to doors. Visible in the rear range are large
stop chamfered bridging joists, wall studs and top plate and a C16 chamfered 4
centre arched red brick fireplace to ground floor.
