to north.

Houses, early C19th. Pebbledashed with sandstone dressings and slate roof.
2 storeys. Main house of double-pile plan with central entry, end stacks
and chamfered quoins. 3 bays. Windows sashed with glazing bars in plain
stone surrounds. Door has plain stone surround and cornice hood on shaped
brackets. South wall partly slate hung with stair window having semi-circular
head and plain reveals. Cottages to the north under lower roof have sashed
windows with glazing bars in plain stone surrounds. Southern cottage,
visually separate but now part of the main house, of 2 bays with central
doorway with plain stone surround and wooden porch. Northern cottage of 3
bays with door in bay one having plain stone surround and cornice hood on
shaped brackets. Chimney on north gable and between bays 2 and 3. Interior.
Main house has re-used early C18th dog-leg stair having closed string,
square newels with balls and turned balusters.
