Frampton Hall

Barn, conservatory, walls and gateway. Mid C18, extended and
altered mid C19. Red brick with ashlar dressings, corrugated tin
and ribbed pantile roof. Barn had tumbled gable, which has been
changed C19 to stepped gables. 2 storey, 3 bay front, with 2
planked doors under segmental heads. To the right a pair of
planked doors with rolled rubbed brick hood. To first floor a
semi-circular headed planked door with similar detail. To the
left a single storey bay with stepped gables and pantile roof.
To the rear a lean-to C19 conservatory and at the right hand end
a rustic lean-to summer house. At the left hand end of the barn
is attached a brick wall, containing a semi-circular headed
planked doorway in pecked ashlar rusticated surround, with
flanking gate piers. A lower stone coped wall meets a further
brick wall with shaped dentillated top, terminating in a brick
pier surmounted by an ashlar ball finial.
