House. '1868' and 'IH' on quatrefoil datestones, built for John
Hodgson Esq of Gilston Park. Attached to SW corner of farm
buildings. White brick Gothic 2 storeys house facing S. Gabled
red tiled roof. 2-light cast iron lattice windows with stone
lintels and flush stone sills. Some casements replaced in wood.
A picturesque dated Gothic farm cottage, added in 1868 by the
Gilston Park Estate to the Gothic group of farm buildings and
cntemporary red brick Gothic farmhouse built by the estate in
1854, qv. Included for group value.
