Pair of houses in row. Probably early C19. Lias stone cut and squared Ham stone dressing; Welsh slate roof between
stepped coped gables; brick end and intermediate chimney stacks, Double roof plan: 2 storeys, 4 bays in all. Sash
windows of 16 panes in plain surrounds with gauged flat arches; to lower bays 1 and 3 are 4-panel doors, the former up
one step and the letter up 2 steps, set in keystoned semi-circular arched recesses under cast-iron fanlight. interiors
not inspected. These houses have important group value with the Church of St Stephen opposite (qv).
