House, C17 and C18 with possibly earlier core. Whitewashed brick ground
floor, rendered and whitewashed first floor; red brick projections to west.
Steeply pitched pantiled roofs, smut pantiles on west side of main roof.
Two storeys and attics, L shaped plan. Irregular fenestration of casements
with transom and glazing bars on east facade; two ground floor sashes with
glazing bars. Pantiled porch in south-east angle of L shaped block with
cross casement with leaded glazing above. Off-centre axial stack in north-
south range. Coved eaves. Red brick return south gable, parapeted with
brick tumbling-in, moulded eaves corbels and internal brick chimney stack.
At north-east corner, a large external red brick chimney stack with weathered
offsets; north gable has two C20 sashes with Gothick heads, one first floor
sash with glazing bars and a 2-light attic casement. Lower 1½ storey range
to west with pedimented Dutch gable: two ground floor sashes without glazing
bars and a 2-light attic casement with glazing bars. C20 lean-to's not of
special interest.
