Former toll house. Late C18 with C20 rear extension. Colourwashed brick with pantiled roof. Octagonal plan with two opposing bays wider than other six. Bay elevations alternate between single wide enclosing arches and rectangular recesses with oval ones above. Three course platband. C20 fenestration. Central chimney of cluster of four circular flues. Blocked front door leads into a semi-circular lobby originally a stairwell. Marked on 1840 tithe map as a toll house.
