Detached farmhouse. C18 with some C19 remodelling and enlargement.
Brick walls, tiled roof with coped gable at south-east end. This gable wall
has diaper patterning in burnt headers. Brick end and centre stacks.
2 storeys. Original section has ironstone plinth. Plat band at first floor
level. C19 brick porch with gabled tiled roof and ledged door. Ground floor
has 3 casement windows with glazing bars. First floor has 5 similar
windows. C19 extension at west end - of 2 storeys but at lower level. Brick
walls and tiled roof. One casement window with glazing bars on each floor.
C20 2-storeyed rear wing of similar construction. Internally, some exposed
ceiling beams on ground floor. RCHM Monument 4.
