Farmhouse. Early C17 origins, rebuilt C18, altered C19. Evidence of an
earlier timber framed structure exists. Colourwashed brick and thatched roof.
2 storeys. East side of 5 irregular bays, the centre two recessed. Mixed
selection of-casements under segmental or straight heads. One half glazed
door. Gabled roof with internal south stack, a ridge stack right of centre
and an external north stack. North gable wall retains C17 brickwork and is
dominated by stepped external stack, rebuilt when building heightened in C18.
West side has facade of 3 bays. Timber lean-to porch flanked by C18 casements
to right and left. 2 similar first floor casements. Further south is a 2
storey gabled cross wing with an external gable end stack. Abutting to south
a 2 storey extension much altered and rebuilt and now devoid of interest.
