House. Mid C18, refaced in gault brick early C19, otherwise red brick. Roofs
of black glazed pantiles. 2 storey facade in 5 bays. Central glazed door
under semi-circular arch. Fluted timber doorcase, Doric block entablatures
and open pediment with dentils. Sash windows have glazing bars and gauged
skewback arches. Timber eaves cornice with dentils. Hipped roof and 2
symmetrically placed stacks on rear slope. 2 curved brick walls run east
and west from main elevation, each with 3 arches, and terminate in square
piers. Rear cross wing mid C18. 2 storeys. East side has chequerwork of
burnt headers, a C20 porch and C18 casements under gauged skewback arches.
Moulded platband between floors. Gabled roof. Ridge stack over door and
at north gable end (internal).
