2 attached barns. Eastern barn late C18, western barn dated W.D. 1807
(William Durrant) on west gable head. Brick with thatched roofs. Transept
outshut to north flank of eastern barn with pedestrian doorway. Full height
double doors to south against which are C20 cattle byres in outshut. Gabled
roof. Western barn enlivened by 2 strip pilasters. To north flank central
full height sliding doors flanked by 2 casements each side, now blocked behind
with brick. Gable heads with tumbling. Roof of west barn of tie beams, 3
tiers taper-tenoned butt purlins and collars. Some straight windbracing.
Eastern barn roof of tie beams, 3 tiers taper-tenoned butt purlins and 2 tiers
of collars, the upper tier cambered.
