Former school and schoolhouse, now private house. 1850, enlarged
1909. Ashlar, Cotswold stone slate roof. Gothic style school to
south has scattered stone stacks, bellcote on coped west gable with
triangular half saddlestone at base of gable projecting over small
open-ended niche, and on west gable wall a quatrefoil plaque with
initials EC and date 1850. Single storey. 3 windows, 2-light
trefoils with hoodmoulds on either side of large gabled porch to
left of centre and a 3-light wooden casement to right. Schoolhouse
to north in similar style, forming 'L' shape with school and linked
to it by a single storey pointed archway, now glazed in,
battlemented above. 2 storeys with 2 gable stacks. 2 windows, also
paired trefoils, and similar on ground floor with central gabled
porch, coped and with saddlestone.
