Altar tomb. Late C18, earliest decipherable date 1791. Limestone.
Rectangular, moulded plinth on base, tall central structure with
moulded cappings carrying large rectangular slab with gadrooned
rectangular "finial". 4 inscription panels: to east and west oval
with foliage decoration to spandrels and returns, to north
rectangular with carved moulded edge and decorative quadrants, to
south plain rectangular fielded panel. Inscription only just
decipherable in places on north side at time of survey (August
1984).
