Late medieval timber-framed building with later timber-framed wing to rear.
2 storey front, the upper storey oversailing and having a plaster finish
on timber-framing. Ground floor has 4 moulded posts carrying curved braces
to support overhang. Moulded stone corbel at left hand end. Modern tile
roof. Upper floor has later casements and later eaves. Ground floor is
of painted stone and has two shop windows, one a splayed bay; central
6-fielded panelled door in frame.

Nos 2 to 30 (even) and Nos 34 to 50 (even) form a group.
