Cottage. Late or early C19. Painted roughcast rendered stone and cob. Hipped
thatch roof with brick stack at right end.
Plan: former 2 room and central passage plan with additional bay at left end,
formerly an outbuilding but now taken in to form part of dwelling. The passage
partitions on each side have also been removed. The left-hand room of the original
cottage was unheated and has staircase to rear left-hand corner.
Exterior: 2 storeys. 3-window range. Two C19 2-light casements 8 panes per light
to right, otherwise C20 fenestration. Windows have plain rendered architraves. C20
gabled porch and lean-to porch added at left end.
Single storey outbuilding attached at left end originally said to have fireplace at
left gable end.
Interior: entirely altered in C20.
