churchyard approximately 2m north
east of Hawkins monument and to
south of Church of St. John
GV II
Pedestal tomb. Early C18. Limestone. Bow-ended and finely
moulded; gadrooned corner balusters. On east end volute tripod
carries flaming urn flanked by heads of putti; west has open book
with radiating fronds, coronet over and winged skull below.
Moulded Rococo inscription panels to sides, that to north with
scrolled pediment over. Cavetto moulded top and cyma base.
Inscriptions illegible.
