and west of High Leam
Farmhouse

Farmbuildings. C18 and early C19. Random rubble with Welsh slate roof and
some local slate. E-shaped. 2-storey rear range with 6 segmental arches to
animal shelters and cartsheds on ground floor; and granary above. Single-
storey byre to right has reset triangular datestone on end wall with date 1707.
Longer single-storey range of stables to left is of 2 builds. Older masonry
to first which has 2 stable doors with alternating jambs; and slit windows
between. Later coachman's room at end with door and sash window. Later single-
storey shed projects from centre of rear range partly blocking 4th arch.

C18 collar-beam roof and wood internal lintels to single-storey byre and stables.
