Barn. Dated and initialled 'W. 1875', on sunken stone plaque in
gable over entrance. Probably built for Edmund Waller. Random
squared and dressed limestone. Stone slate roof, stone stack.
Long rectangular plan, comprising barn with outbuilding to right.
Central gabled porch with double width entrance. Two 3-light
stone-mullioned casements either side mullions from far left-hand
window now removed. Plank door far right. Single-storey
outbuilding to right with two 2-light stone-mullioned casements and
two plank doors. Two 'V'-shaped vents with decorative barge
boards ventilating roof space. Flat coping at left gable end and
to gable over porch. Finials at apexes of both gables and to
kneelers of gable over porch. Axial stack to single storey
extension with flat capping supported on freestanding stone blocks.
Barn interior not inspected.
