Farmhouse divided into three. 'Early C17. 'T' shaped plan of 2 storeys and
attics, extended and altered in C18 with continuous rear outshut to north,
and in C19 with 2 storey extension to north west, and with 3, C20, 2 storey
bay windows on south facade. Single storey outshuts with slate roofs to north
and west. C17 house lies on east-west axis with cross wing to west. 3 Purbeck
marble shafts, and associated column caps and bases built into south west
gable wall. Scattered fenestration of C20 casements. Doorcase on south side
with panelled reveals, architrave and fluted pilasters but the cornice has
been removed. C17 flintwork and brick between western bay windows. East
gable has inserted C20 casements in C17 opening at attic floor level and
blocked C17 opening at first floor level. West gable wall has C19 asymmetric
arrangement of windows and doors. Platband at attic and first floor level.
3 light window to attic with wrought iron casement and leaded lights. To
north of gable C19 first floor canted bay with sash window with margin lights
and glazing bars. 3 eyebrow dormers to south with 3 light casement windows.
