Church Farm House.
G.V. II
Farmhouse, dated 1773 of brick with pantiled roof. 3 cell house, extended
in C19 to south west to form 'L' shaped plan of 2 storeys and attics. 2 storey
service block to east with C20 lean-to loggia and extension. Western entrance
facade with rustic porch, gabled wing at southern end and 3 windows to north.
Windows mainly C20 casements. C19 cross windows at first floor level with
wrought iron casements. Corbelled brick eaves. Parapet gable to north with
brick kneelers and end stack. 3 C19 gabled dormers with 2-light C20 casements.
Off centre axial stack and axial stack on south west wing. Simple C18 and
C19 interior detail. Raised and fielded panel doors and fireplaces with eared
architraves. Datestone on south gable inscribed T.R. 1773. Attached out-
buildings to north not of special interest.
