House, now print works. Late C16, altered C18, extended C19. and mid C20.
Timber framed encased in painted render, frame partly visible on north
gable. Old tile gabled roof. L-plan, formerly of 3 x 2 framed bays,
now with rear extensions. 2 storeys and attics. One flanking chimney
on right, one larger chimney with offset head on rear roof slope. Black
painted plinth. 4 bay front, sash windows on first floor; one sash window
and door on ground floor on left; one early C19 shop window and door on right.
2 steps up to doors. Interior:- most of the timber frame visible. Some
principal beams are chamfered with lamb's tongue stops. Most joists are
thin. Side purlin roof. Large fireplace and bread oven, now covered up.
