House with attached former barn, now part of house. Barn possibly
C16; late C17 house; extensive C20 alterations to barn and
addition to house. Random rubble limestone; ashlar chimney;
stone slate roof. Two-storey; 2 rear wings on east side. West
front: 2-window fenestration to C17 house, 3-light to ground
floor, 2-light above, all chamfered mullioned casements, those to
ground floor with hoodmoulds. Central weatherboarded gabled porch,
obscuring one light of adjacent window. C20 mullioned fenestration
to former barn to left. Single ridge-mounted chimney with
chamfered cap. South end: gable end with single-window 2-light
mullioned casements having hoodmoulds. Two-storey C19 rear wing
with timber casements. Large C20 rear wing adjoining. Interior
not inspected.
