House, now 2 houses. Early C17, altered and extended early to mid C20. Brick,
old tile gabled roof. Rectangular plan formerly, now irregular; 3 gables facing road,
the northernmost a C20 extension in similar style. Smaller gabled extension to rear
of No. 1. Part 2 storeys, part 2 storeys and attic. Large chimney near centre with
4 shafts, offset heads and ornamental clay pots. Other chimney at rear. Road front:
3 gables, with 2 brick pilasters on each; string course over ground and first-floor
windows. Small attic window in centre gable, four 2- and 3-light leaded casements
first floor, three similar on ground floor but taller. 2 heavy oak, studded doors.
Left (south) front: catslide roof on right with C20 squint bay-window with leaded
casements. Gable on left, string course over ground-floor windows. Two, 2-light
leaded casement windows on first floor, that on left with segmental head. Similar
window on right on ground floor and a C20 squint bay and half-glazed door on left.
