Cottage. 1847 by F. O'Connor for the National Co-operative Land
Company: later alterations. Rendered random rubble walls, slate
roof. Three-room wide front, centre projecting slightly, long
rear wing: single storey. Fully-glazed mid C20 front door,
covered by half-glazed porch, with open front. Tall, 6-pane
casements each side, in original openings: dumb-bell ventilator
over in gable: plain verge rafters. Two-light mid C20 iron
casement in each wing in original opening. Hipped roof. Chimney
to centre rear and well back on right return. Part of Chartist
settlement, listed principally for historical and sociological
reasons.
