Cottage. 1847 by F. O'Connor for the National Co-operative Land
Company: C20 alterations. Random rubble walls faced render lined
as ashlar, slate roof. Three-room front, slightly projecting
centre, one room deep, rear wing on right, part rear leanto, single
storey. Plinth; large, half-glazed, gabled timber porch, over
fully-glazed front door. Single-pane iron casements to each side,
dumb-bell ventilator in gable over. Plain bargeboards. Two-
tight iron casements in wings each side (all windows mid to late
C20). Hipped roof, chimneys ends and centre rear. Forms group
with other Chartist cottages (q.v.); listed principally for
historical and sociological reasons.
