attached cider house

Cottage and cider house. Probably C18. Cottage is timber-framed with
woven infill, external stone stack with bread oven and brick shaft to
left, brick stack to right; left gable cased in rubble; slate roof;
cider house is weatherboarded with a pantiled roof. Rectangular plan of
two bays aligned roughly north/south with cider house at north end.
Two storeys to cottage, one storey to cider house. East elevation:
cottage has two windows, C18 wrought iron casements, central ledged C18
door with strap hinges under gabled C20 canopy; cider house has ledged
two-leafed doors to left. Frame of cottage is four panels high from cill
to wall-plate; rails continue through into cider house which is three
panels high. Late C20 lean-to extension to rear.
