Barn and 2 adjoining stables. Late C18 and C19. Brick with
steep pitched pantile and concrete tile roofs. Tumbled coped
south gable with kneelers. Pedimented east gable. Cogged and
rebated eaves. Single and 2 storeys, 16 bays. L-plan. Ground
floor openings have segmental heads. Barn has single bay C19
addition to north. East side has to left, reduced barn door with
inserted smaller door, flanked to left by 4 and to right by 3
slit breathers in 3 tiers. To right, reduced barn door with
sliding door, flanked to right by a diamond breather and beyond,
a stable door. Above to left, pitch hole, and to right, 2
diamond breathers. Stable to north, 3 plus 3 bays, has to east,
casement and 2 doors. To south, 2 casements flanked by single
stable doors and beyond, single casement. 2 storey stable, to
east, 5 bays, has to south 4 casements alternating with 3 doors.
East gable has, above, a door. South gable has 3 tiers of 4
breathers and above, pitch hole with segmental head. West side
has to left gable with central door flanked by single metal
casements, and to right, door. Above, blocked opening. To its
right, C19 addition, brick with pantile roof, single storey,
single bay. To west, door, and to south, casement, both with
timber lintels. To right again, 2 pairs of barn doors with
timber lintels and stone imposts. Between them, 3 tiers of 3
breathers. To their right, 3 tiers of 4 breathers. Barn has
strutted principal rafter roof with collars and double tenoned
purlins.
