Farmhouse. C17. Refronted and extended mid C18. Brick and
coursed squared rubble with dressed stone quoins and steep
pitched C20 plain tile roof. Chamfered and plain stone plinth,
brick plinth, partly rendered. Rebated and partly dentillated
eaves. 3 ridge stacks. 2 storeys plus garrets, 4 bays. L-
plan. To left, C20 door flanked to left by a double sash and to
right by 3 sashes. Above, 4 sashes. All openings have
segmental heads. West gable has C19 toilet block, brick with
lean-to pantile roof. Above, to right, C18 Yorkshire sash.
Above again, blocked opening. South front has double gabled rear
wing. To left, C20 casement and door with segmental head. To
their right, 3 casements, that to right with segmental head and
stone lintel. Above, 4 casements with segmental heads, one with
stone lintel. Cellar to right of rear wings has to east,
casement with segmental head. East gable has, above, C20 sash
to garret. Interior has, to south, jowls of 2 posts. Principal
rafter roof with double tenoned purlins and wind braces. Some
common rafters renewed. 2 flight oak winder stair to south west.
C19 winder stair with turned newel to east. 2 stud walls with
lath and plaster infill. 3 span beams, one with stops. Cased
fireplace bressummer.
