Former church ale-house and dwelling, now storage. Late C16 - early C17.
Timber-frame on stone base, regular rectangular infill panels in brick
and wattle-and-daub; continuous tiled roof; brick chimney shaft one bay
from left. One storey and attic; one gabled dormer; 4 bays: the 3 to the
left have diagonal struts from cill to posts; the one to the right has
none and is, being recessed, probably an extension; C18 casements; 3 entrances
to front and one to left return all with beaded and ledged C18 doors.
Interior: 2 very large C17 fireplaces served by the one chimney the insertion
of which has cut through the tie-beam separating the first and second bays
from the left.
