Former rectory. 1840s or 1850s. Garden Front: dressed rubble partly
brought to course, slated roof, raised verges on kneelers, diagonal end
chimneys. Roughly 'L' plan, revived Jacobean style. 2 storeys and attic,
string over ground floor; 3 bays: projecting centre with kneelers and crow-
stepped gable; cross casement windows in chamfered reveals; first floor:
outer windows have small parapeted gables with shields; centre part has
2 windows with common hood mould: between a moulded panel; above a smaller
attic window; ground floor: 3 angled bays, centre one has gablet; entrance
in 2 storey porch to rear left in angle with lower rear wing of one storey
plus attic which was extended in facsimile form in 1920s.
