adjoining -wall about
260 yards north-west of
Hanbury Hall
GV II
House and adjoining wall. Mid-C18 with later alterations. Brick, plain
tiled roof with two tall brick stacks to south pitch. Two bays aligned
east/west. Single storey and attic with dormer and dentilled eaves cornice.
Casement windows throughout with cambered heads. East entrance elevation:
2-light ground-floor window and an attic light; entrance to right side has
a lean-to tiled canopy on a timber upright, at right angles to the gable end,
and a half-glazed door. West gable end has dentilled cornice continuing
to gable apex and also end pilasters; ground-floor cross-casement and an
attic light. Interior not inspected. Later additions to north elevation.
The C18 brick wall adjoining the north-east corner is about 15 feet long

is reputed to have been built as a garden pavilion which may explain the
detailing at the west gable end.
