House and post office. Late C18 - early C19. Ashlar with herringbone
tooling, artificial stone slate roof. 2 storeys, 3 bays. Plinth. Central
6-panel door below 3-pane overlight in surround with straight tooling. Sash
windows with glazing bars below flat arches, the central first-floor window
blind and painted to match the others. First-floor band. Ashlar copings.
Brick end stacks. The design of the house is very similar to that of its
neighbour, Ashla (qv), which faces south.
