3/13 Huggon House

Farmhouse, c1690 with C20 alterations. Squared rubble, stone dressings, stone
slate roof. Former lobby entry plan. 2 storeys, 5 bays. Central entrance
has chamfered surround and decorated lintel with dragon or unicorn and lion
rampant in bas relief; C20 door. 2 ground floor windows to right, formerly
cross windows with chamfered surrounds, mullions and transoms now missing.
On ground floor to left is early-C20 three-light flat faced mullioned window
replacing 2 former cross windows. 5 former cross windows in upper floor, mullions
and transoms now missing. All windows have C20 casements except central upper
floor window which is blocked. Gable end and right of centre ridge stacks.
Interior: c1690 dog-leg staircase with closed string and bobbin balusters.
