SD 94 NE LOTHERSDALE ROOK STREET

6/85 No 12 (Stansfield House)

House, 1752, altered. Pebbledashed with stone slate roof. Three storeys and
two bays. Quoins and coped gables with kneelers. Doorway of large stones with
slight chamfer, and modern door. Datestone over doorway with "IS.IW" and date.
Right hand ground floor window is small C19 canted bay window with lead roof,
and second floor single window is of 4 very small lights. Remainings windows
are 2-light with flush square stone mullions. Gable chimneys.
