Farmhouse and attached barn, 1761 - . Hammer dressed stone with stone slate
roof. Gabled coped with kneelers. House and barn in one range and roofed
continuously. House is of 2 storeys and three bays. To right hand side is a
broad gabled single storey porch and wash-house. Porch and house are quoined.
Doorway with plain stone surround. Windows, one to ground floor and 3 above,
are all of 4 lights with recessed square mullions. Barn has doorway near corner
with heavy lintel, and small flat-headed cart entry over which is a tablet inscribed
MD with partly legible date.
