House, part of row. Late C.18. Hammer dressed stone with quoins and
plinth. Stone slate roof with gable copings to left. Three storeys.
Symmetrical 3-bay facade with central panelled door with traceried fanlight
and small cornice, above which is plaque recording the residence of the
Reverend Patrick Bronte from 1812. Paired lights to left and right, all
floors, those to ground floor being taller and possibly altered. Rear
elevation has near central door with slender staircase window above, with
early glazing bars. Three light stone mullioned windows to each floor,
left and right, that to ground floor, left, being altered.
