House and shops. Early C19 exterior to earlier structure. Timber-framed and
roughcast with applied close-studded framework, with painted ground floor. Plain
tiled roof. Three storeys (originally 2 storeys and basement), with stacks to
centre left and projecting at end right. Two 3 light and central 2 light leaded
casements on top floor, with 2 light and 3 light on 1st floor, and canted plate
glass bay to left, with panelled door at end left and flight of 7 steps. Base-
ment/ground floor with 3 light central casement, and early C19 canted multi-pane
bay, with half-glazed doors to centre left, and to centre right with gabled hood.
Traditionally claimed to be a cloth hall in origin.
