House, now offices. c1700. Brick with slate roof. 2 storeys in
7 bays. Western 2 bays at ground floor swallowed by C19
extension to No 4. Doorway in third bay (from right): door
with applied boarding under an open pediment hood on console
brackets. Fenestration of 2-light timber cross casements with
leaded lights. Window immediately left of door altered C20 and
set in reduced opening. High gauged skewback arches. Timber
eaves cornice. Gabled roof with ridge stack left of centre.
North side (rear) constructed against Duke's Head Hotel.
