Formerly known as: No. 205 Arnold Bennett Museum, WATERLOO
STREET, Cobridge.
House, forming part of a terrace. c1880. Brick with plain
tiled roof. Two-storeyed with attic, two bays, with advanced gable
to left with panelled and glazed door with traceried fanlight
in recessed porch, and 2-storey canted bay. Three narrow windows
to attic. Canted bay window in right-hand section, with paired
sash windows above. Terracotta panelled decoration forms
frieze to bay window, and in apex of gable. Raking brackets
carry roof over terracotta eaves cornice with sunflower motifs
etc. Tall fluted shafts.
