Pair of houses. Mid C18. Cut flint with gault and red brick
dressings. Roof of black-glazed pantiles. 2 storeys in 8
irregular bays. Plinth course. Dentil eaves cornice and gabled
roof. No.2 (Boscombe House) with a carriage entrance at
south-east end fitted with double timber doors. Four 6/6
sashes to right under segmental heads and 4 to first floor. 2
doorways next right, the left-hand one with fluted pilaster
strips and a plain hood, the other with a C20 six-panelled
door. Above are two 6/6 sashes. No.4 (Twyford House) outwardly
symmetrical: 2 bays. Central C20 door flanked by one 6/6
horned sash either side and 2 similar sashes to first floor.
Lower windows with segmental arches. Internal gable-end stack
to north-west and south-east and 2 ridge stacks. INTERIOR not
inspected.
