2 houses, now house, shop and flat. Late C18, with mid and
late C19 and C20 alterations. Brick with painted ground floor
and pantile roof. Dentillated eaves, renewed gutter on
brackets, single coped gable, 2 gable and 2 ridge stacks. 2
storeys plus attics; 6 window range with segmental heads.
Gabled rear wing flanked by single hipped wings. 4 glazing bar
sashes, single blank and 2 plain sashes. Above, 3 renewed mid
C19 gabled dormers with bargeboards and glazing bar sashes.
Below, to left, late C19 wooden shopfront, altered late C20,
with off-centre door flanked by single pane windows. To its
left, a round headed entry. To right, a C19 triple sash and a
segment headed 6-panel door with overlight. 68A has shallow
pitched winder stair with panelled soffit and stick balusters.
