Shop and office. Late C16. Timber-framed, end rendered, with
exposed frame on first floor front. Plain tile gabled roofs
linking on N wih roof of No.23 (qv). 2 storeys with range at
right angles at rear.
Elevation: front has 2 octagonal gault brick shafts behind
ridge line. First floor has 2 C20 hardwood leaded light
casements. C20 shopfront with recessed entrance and hardwood
fascia. 2 bay timber frame formerly jettied and with jowled
posts. At right angles, to the rear is a 2-bay timber frame
with jowled posts and a further 2 bays of a truncated building
with exceptionally cambered tie-beam. Large stack in end bay
of this structure which projects through roof as a substantial
red brick rectangular stack.
