GV II


House. Early C19 with mid-C20 alterations. Brick with some render, plain
tiled roof and large rear stack. Two storeys and attic with dentilled eaves
cornice. Two plus one bays; windows are all 16-pane C20 sashes with cambered
heads; two-bay part has main entrance which has a moulded flat canopy on
slender turned posts, and a 6-panelled door with raised and fielded panels
and moulded architrave. Single-bay part to left (beneath continuous roof
ridge) has a ground and first floor window; left of the ground floor window
is a C20 garage door. Attic light at right gable end. Interior not inspected.
The single-bay part is said to have once been a shop, the garage door now
replacing the shop front.
