House and attached cottage; now house. Late C18; cottage added in early
C19; later C19 extension. Restored in 1977. Red brick and variegated brick
in English garden wall bond; some extensions in stone. Pantile roof.
2-storey, 2-window C18 front, to right of 2-storey, 2-window early C19
extension; 1-storey wall at far left screening C20 extension. C20 door at
right of early C19 part, with two 16-pane sashes at left; 24-pane sashes on
first floor. Flat arches to all windows. Windows in C18 part are 12-pane
sashes on left of both floors and 16-pane sashes at right, all with
segmental arches. Painted stone sills to all windows. Coped gables and
shaped kneelers. End and centre stacks. C19 and C20 extensions at left and
rear not of special interest.
