Brewhouse or outside kitchen. Late C16, outside stair C18.
Timber frame on flint sill wall, weatherboarded and part
plastered, with steep old red tile roof. A single cell building
of one square structural bay with large red brick external gable
chimney at W and entrance on S. Rear lean-to outshut and W end
outshut C18/C19. External weatherboarded enclosed staircase at
SE corner now gives access to upper floor with fireplace. Heavy
timber frame with close studding, tension braces and side purlin
roof. Tall external chimney at W, with offsets and 3 diagonal
shafts, tops rebuilt as a rectangular shaft. Casement windows
and plank door.
