Wash-house, now outbuilding. Early-mid C19. Part of the estate village
built for Sir William Amcotts Ingilby. Coursed squared gritstone, grey
slate roof. A single-storey low square building in Gothick style with board
door right below a plain lintel and 3-light rectangular window with
intersecting tracery to left. Projecting eaves band, hipped roof; a short
chimney stack to rear right corner. Interior not seen at resurvey. A
reflected pair to the outbuilding behind No 5 Main Street (qv), closing the
space between the 2 terraces as seen from the Market Place.
