Limekiln. Early C19. Red sandstone random rubble. Standard plan set into hillside, curved abutments, parapet largely obscured by undergrowth at time of survey (November 1983). 3 stone relieving arches, openings to flue partly blocked.Set into bank at roadside and part of quarry, now disused; Forms an interesting feature on the road between Vellow and Lower Vellow.
