TG 22 SE COLTISHALL ST. JAMES

2/35 Church Farm House.

G.V. II

Farm house, C18, extended to south in C19. Red brick with black pantiled roof.
2 storeys, with rear 2 storey outshut and single storey service range to west.
Original facade 3 windows with central part glazed entrance door and doorcase
with reeded pilasters and frieze. Gault brick modillion eaves. Southern
extension, one window with part glazed entrance door. Original facade has
clasping pilasters. Extension has red brick modillion eaves. C19, 3-light
transomed windows some with wrought iron casements. Knapped flint at rear.
Former gable kneeler projects from north east corner at first floor level.
Parapet gables with tie irons and brick tumbling in. Off centre axial stack
and east gable stack. Included for group value.
