TG 22 SE COLTISHALL ST. JAMES

2/37 Barn, 50 metres to
north of Thorncroft.

Barn, dated 1756. Red brick and thatch, with later lower range to south.
3 stead barn, with barn doors to south and outshut to north. Vent slits.
West gable with ventilation slit and blocked hayloft door with segmental brick
arch. Date stone in gable peak. Parapet gables with tie irons and moulded
brick kneelers. Butt purlin roof with wall posts and braches to tie beams.
Date stone inscribed I.N. 1756. Southern lower range, not of special interest.
